London is one of the swankiest, fanciest, and classiest places around. It boasts tons of huge names who expect big parties. So when Jaguar decided that this is where they would unveil their new XJ model, they knew what kind of a challenge they were up against in order to get a little attention. But with a product like the new XJ, it didn’t take much effort to get the big names flocking to the coming out party of the brand new Jaguar XJ.

The London party, which was hosted by Jay Leno, was appropriate for such a luxurious and classy car. A car like this, demands a party of epic proportions. The Madison Jaguar XJ has plenty of gorgeous and fancy features that still have half of London buzzing.

The sleek and aerodynamic look of this new model makes it elegant right from the get-go. But once you get behind the wheel it only gets better. Boasting a whopping 5.0-liter V8, 400 horsepower engine, this powerful Jaguar is not kidding when it comes to driving. Any serious car lover will understand that this car means business out on the road.

It also has some great new features to add to the Madison new car lineup. With a debonairly decibel-dousing Bowers and Wilkens sound system (also found in the Madison Jaguar XK and XF), an 8-inch center LCD display to control music, navigation and telephone, and a virtual speedometer and tachometer, any tech junkie will fall head over heels for this Cat.

Plus, it comes available with Dual View Technology. Basically, while the driver is watching the navigation system, the passenger can be watching a DVD or a television show — but only offered in Europe for right now due to U.S. safety regulations. Bummer. So we’re just going to have to cross our fingers for that one to show up at our Madison dealer.

These new Jags should be availble sometime around September, so keep an eye out at our Madison dealer for them around then. And maybe we’ll get a big swanky party for its arrival here too as well. Jaguar XK Review

I have a friend who has been traveling around the U.S. following his favorite bands, living out of his car. He calls every so often to tell me about how it’s going and before he hangs up, he insists on going on a 20-minute rant about how uncomfortable living out of his car is. I have to use every restraint I have to tell him “I told ya so” but I just listen, then wish him luck and wait for the next phone call. The other day I stopped in at at Madison dealer to take a look around and saw the new Madison Jaguar XK, and let me tell you, if my friend were living out of this car, he would have absolutely no complaints. In fact, he’d probably extend his trip. I might even join him.

The Jaguar XK is one of the most luxurious and refined cars I have ever seen. Both the interior and exterior are elegant yet modern and completely functional for everyday use.

The XK comes available in either a coupe or a convertible body. Both styles offer a shockingly large trunk with a ton of cargo space and plenty of room in the back for both passengers or even more cargo room. Or a place to sleep if you happen to be traveling across the U.S. in it…

And it would get you coast to coast in a hurry if necessary. With a 4.2 liter V8 engine that produces 300 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 5.6, this engine packs quite a punch. Still, it possesses very smooth acceleration and a surprisingly quiet cabin, despite all of its strength.

Plus, the 2009 Madison Jaguar XK comes fully equipped with some amazing features. It receives elegant touches like wood trim, but a more modern appearance is an option with aluminum trim. It also boasts 19 inch wheels, a front parking sensor, surround sound audio system with satellite radio, a USB input, and power folding mirrors.

I haven’t mentioned any of this to my friend yet. I figure I should just wait until he comes back and take him along on one of my Jaguar test drives to show him how living could be.
