A more eco-friendly Land Rover is coming to your Madison dealer. The new LRX model is similar to the one that debuted in 2008 at the Detroit Auto Show. It was liked by many who saw it and finally the company will be working on it in their production plants!
The 2011 LRX is currently being reviewed and tested by many major auto critics, but it’s said to be the “smallest, lightest, and most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced.” This statement by Land Rover is a bold one, opening the flood gates for more information on what this Madison new car will offer!
The 2011 LR will be a two door with smaller proportions, as compared to other Madison used cars. It’s just under 6 inches shorter, nose to tail, and height wise, about 8 inches shorter than other Land Rover models. This being said, it won’t have the capabilities off road, but looks like a great vehicle, with plenty of space, possibly a perfect fit for today’s family??
This Madison new car will be a help to the environment. CO2 emissions will be under 150 g/km, which equals about 50 mpg in fuel efficiency. A Range Rover hybrid is also a possibility down the road. This would only give off about 120 g/km, increasing the efficiency of fuel to nearly 60 mpg. Sounds good to me!
This model, which is based on the LRX concept, will not be sold at your Madison dealer until later 2010 as a 2011 model. Right now, Fields Madison has a large inventory of new Land Rovers and Madison used cars waiting to go home with you today!
