Having the best of both worlds is usually difficult. Take chocolate for example. We know it’s not good for us, but we can’t get enough. Or shopping. We’re in a recession, but just have to have that pair of jeans. Having the best of both worlds is a difficult balance. But the new Land Rover LR3 makes it seem effortless, giving customers a nice balance of both top-of-the-line luxury and rugged off-roading capability.
The Madison Land Rover LR3 is the perfect combination of toughness and style. On the inside, it boasts beautiful leather seating, a spacious sunroof, Bluetooth capability, a high-tech audio system, navigation system and plenty of room for passengers.
But as soon as you get this AWD out on the open off-road it turns on the attitude and becomes a rugged and tough, go-anywhere machine. With a 4.4-liter, V8 engine that delivers 300 horsepower, it has no problem with power and strength. Plus, it can tow up to 7,700 pounds, which is quite impressive and the second and third row seats fold down for extra cargo space. It also comes equipped with Terrain Response System so it can handle any off-road situation with ease by a simple push of a button.
But even if you don’t plan on taking your Madison Land Rover LR3 into the mountains, it will also handle beautifully on the everyday commute and errands around town as well. The new model has shockingly responsive handling for everyday driving and is a very smooth and easy within the confines of heavy traffic. It also provides features such as Rear Parking Assist.
I’ve always felt Land Rover got it right with the LR3, finding a perfect balance between both worlds. Luxury and ruggedness have come together, and the outcome is a beautiful tough-guy. If only I could take some cues from Land Rover when it comes to chocolate and shopping, I’d have it made.
