Madison new cars: the 2010 Jaguar XF

Madison new cars: the 2010 Jaguar XF

There is currently a lot going on right now at Jaguar.  The 2010 Jaguar XF is an exciting car and there are even details out about the 2011 Jaguar XF Diesel S model.  Let’s take a look at what they have to offer.

Of all the Madison new cars you could choose from, the 2010 XF is one of the most powerful.  The XF comes with the choice of a powerful V8, or a supercharged V8.  With many sedans in this class, the V8 is an upgrade, but Jaguar has gotten rid of the V6 and upped the ante to a V8 across the board.  How’s that for power?!?!

Madison used cars: 1956 Jaguar earns $3.74 million at auction

Perhaps a useful barometer for the recession, and even our society’s overall general economic health, is to look at how car sales are doing.  Nothing seems to reflect the public’s state of mind like their appetite and willingness to express themselves through their cars, in terms of performance and style.

Jaguar XJ is “most beautiful”

JagXFThe Jaguar XJ, the 2011 model of which is coming to your Madison dealer in April, has been dubbed the “most beautiful” at the Detroit auto show. The new XJ is reminiscent of Jaguar’s breathtaking unveil of the C-XF concept car at the Detroit show three years ago, which was met with lavish praise. Available in short- and long-wheelbase form, the 2010 XJ is offered with three V-8 powertrains and four models (XJ, XJL, Supercharged and SuperSport). The XJ is Jaguar’s equivalent to the BMW 7-Series, the Mercedes S class, the big Lexus sedan and the new Audi A8. For past models of the Jaguar XJ, check out the inventory at your Madison used car dealership. Continue Reading…

Jaguar XJ one of least likely cars to be ticketed

The Jaguar XJ (the 2011 model  is coming to your Madison dealer in April) was rated among the least ticketed vehicles in a study of 1.7 million vehicles. In fact, the XJ is 89% less likely to get a ticket than average. You might find this surprising given that one of the engines XJ offers is a 400-hp 4.2-liter supercharged V8, a temptation for any driver with a penchant for speed, but the numbers don’t lie.

The study was conducted by Quality Planning, a company that validates policyholder info for auto insurers, based on data gathered between August 2007 and September 2008. Other vehicles that made the ranks were the Chevrolet Suburban, the 2005 Buick Park Avenue, and the Mazda6.

Jaguar XF Named Best Executive Car

Many cars are labeled  ‘luxury vehicles’, but few ever achieve the balanced fusion of  refinement, elegance and usability.  Not to brag, but the Madison Jaguar XF at our Madison dealer found this ultimate sweet spot and has two consecutive “Best Executive Car” awards to prove it.  Every year, Autotropolis issues a list of the top executive cars and in 2009, this Jag remains comfortably atop this well-deserved pedestal.

The Ultimate Executive Suite

The Ultimate Executive Suite

Why exactly is this award so distinguished?  It’s all in the name.  The word executive implies someone who controls, manages, and leads an organization.  An executive is a decision maker who has climbed the corporate hierarchy and faced-down challenges.  Thus, Autotropolis’s award is meant to honor vehicles that accurately reflect the accomplishments of a executive who also encompasses a contemporary ‘posh refinement’.
