Wisconsin may not have any actual mountains to climb, but there are rocks and hills and an overabundance of ideal off-roading spots so when the new Land Rover LR4 boasts about its infamous “Rock Crawl” Terrain Response system option, America’s Dairlyland capital can join in the excitement. Regardless of the terrain, Land Rover introduces a vehicle that makes a trek over the Rockies feel like a nap in your backyard hammock.

At home in the mountains and out on the range
Land Rover first introduced the upcoming 2010 LR4 on the eve of the New York Auto show and this decked-out LR3 upgrade offers a ton of very practical, innovative, and as the kids are saying these days, very ‘fresh’ features. Technically speaking, it packs a refined direct-injected 5.0-liter V8 sourced from Jaguar putting 375 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission. This Madison new car delivers 25% more power and 19% more torque than the previous 4.4 liter engine.
Land Rover’s Terrain Response System has also been enhanced to help optimize the LR4 for virtually all on or off-road driving. Besides just the ‘Rock Crawl’ setting, the other standard settings are for General Driving, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Sand, and Mud/Ruts. Nothing short of swimming capabilities, the Madison LR 4 is a monster on land.
Other comprehensive changes include: a new suspension component, revised steering, larger brakes, and improved traction control.
The overall exterior design was given a few tweaks such as a smoother new front end and revised lights, including LEDs. Simpler lines and a more aerodynamic front highlight the major alterations.
Inside the premium cabin are a slew of notable user-friendly amenities such as: a Surround Camera system, Gradient

Roomy enough for seven
Release Control, Tow Assist, keyless entry, and push button start.
The new 2019 LR4 is luxurious and practical. Especially after the first few flakes of the Wisconsin winter fall from the sky, the driving capabilities of this Madison new car proves its practicality.
