Land Rover has certainly hit the new decade running with the LR4. No drastic changes have been made, but the 2010 LR4 has been tweaked and can safely be considered new and improved.  The exterior has been revised with a new bumper which has less of a plastic appearance than previous versions and led lighting.  Not to be negated Land Rover has reworked the interior as well, for a more premium appearance and feel.

Nifty new features on the inside for the LR4 include keyless entry and start – a must have for any SUV owner, an  automatic high beam assist and a 360 degree five camera monitor system that should make parking, driving off-road, or hooking up a trailer amongst other things much easier.  The Madison LR 4 I perused at a Madison dealer lists that it seats seven,  and while the third row may be a touch tight for adults, I would say that the LR4 boasts one of the most legitimate claims to a 7-adult SUV.

Beyond the shiny and enticing new features both on the interior and exterior of the Madison Land Rover LR4 much attention has been paid to improving the vehicle mechanically.  Under the hood sits a powerful 5-liter V8 producing 375 horsepower and 375 lb feet of torque.  Incidentally a version of this engine also powers the 2010 Jaguar XF Sedan.  The change doesn’t stop there. Other improvements include a new 6-speed automatic transmission, a reworked suspension and an enhanced version of Land Rovers terrain response 4 wheel drive system.  All these improvements add up to the most capable Land Rover ever. If you are looking for comfort in a mid sized SUV, but plan to only drive your kids to school, the LR4 will be a satisfactory choice. As always with Land Rovers, the true pleasure comes to those drivers with a heightened sense of adventure. If you appreciate raw power or need a vehicle not only capable of driving but in fact thriving through rigid terrain the Madison 2010  LR4 will not disappoint.
